The downloads pages contain descriptions of FREE Add-Ins for use with Microsoft Access.  There are only two files to download.  One file, dbswiz.exe, is the Access 97 version and the second file, dbswiz2k.exe, is the Access 2000 version.  Each file contains all of the Add-Ins described below.  The Setup routine itself will allow you to choose which of the add-ins to install.

What's the catch?  There is no catch.  You can use it freely and distribute it freely to other Access users.  There is, however, one condition.  We ask that all copyrights in the add-in be kept intact.  Also, any copyright created by the add-in when inserted into your code be kept intact.  The only thing we want in return is credit for our work.  And as courtesy, if you download the add-ins and find them helpful, would you e-mail us and tell us as much.  We will keep your e-mail in our database and when upgrades and improvements become available, we will notify you.

There is also one very important caveat.  These add-in are free and you are getting what you pay for.  As of now the help files are extremely limited. This may be improving soon.  Support is NOT included with the download.  (We will do phone support at a rate of $75.00/hour.  If you are interested in this please e-mail us.)  Although we have been using most of these add-ins for several years and attest to their reliability, we have NOT tested them in every possible target environment.  Use these add-ins at your own risk.

Finally, the add-ins contain code that was not written by us and we feel it is crucial that we give credit were credit is due.  The add-ins contain several functions that were copied from the Access Developers Handbook series written by Paul Litwin, et al, and published by Sybex.  This book is the Magna Carta of Access development books (and a standard-bearer for ALL computer books in my humble opinion).  If you don't have it - get it.  You'll wonder how you ever lived without it.  If you are willing to pay for Access add-ins or want to download free demos, I recommend that you visit the FMS, Inc. web site.    They sell tools and code that we couldn't live without.
